Dezeen Awards 2026 adds James Melia, Dominique Petit-Frère, Ben Addy, Nada Debs as judges

The Dezeen Awards 2026 has revealed the addition of four judges: Ben Addy, an architect from Moxon Architects; Dominique Petit-Frère, an architect associated with Limbo Museum in Accra; designer James Melia from Blond in London; and designer Nada Debs from Beirut. In its ninth iteration and in collaboration with Trimble, the awards aim to honor excellence in architecture, interiors, and design. Addy will evaluate architectural submissions, including a hillside residence and a Passivhaus extension. Petit-Frère, also part of the architecture panel, is a co-founder of Limbo Accra. Melia will assess design entries featuring flower-shaped packaging and an AI exhibition. Debs has designed an immersive hammam and reimagined the Uzbek tapchan. The deadline for submissions is May 27, 2026.
