Design Shanghai 2025 Emphasizes Human-Centered Design with Sustainability Focus
Scheduled for June 4-7, 2025, Design Shanghai will take place at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, anticipating an attendance of over 80,000. The event's theme, 'Design for Humanity,' will highlight more than 600 designs from brands across 30 nations. Zhuo Tan, the Event Director, remarked on the fair's 12-year journey as a facilitator for East-West design dialogue, focusing on personal and significant design. The Furniture & Lighting Section will showcase JOYSLIVING and Desalto's Micro Clay table series, alongside innovations like LZF's The Cloud lamps and Miguel Herranz's MiniMikado light. The New Materials and Applications Section will emphasize sustainability, featuring exhibitors such as Foshan Greenzone and Mapei. Additional programs include TALENTS, neoold, Beyond Craft Japan, Materials First, and Re: Materialize, with conferences featuring prominent studio speakers.
