Design Miami to Launch First Paris Edition in October 2023

Design Miami will launch its first Paris edition from October 17 to 22, 2023, at the Hôtel de Maisons in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, coinciding with Paris+ par Art Basel. The fair, originally scheduled for autumn 2022 but postponed, will feature leading Parisian and international galleries specializing in collectible design. This move follows the successful pairing of Design Miami with Art Basel in Basel and Miami, reinforcing Paris's strategic role in the global creativity market. Craig Robins, Chairman and co-founder of Design Miami, expressed enthusiasm for the new venue, a historic 18th-century landmark that once housed Karl Lagerfeld and the Pozzo di Borgo family. CEO Jen Roberts highlighted Paris's importance as a capital of collectible design and home to prestigious galleries and brands. The fair aims to unite designers, gallerists, curators, and collectors to celebrate design culture, which has seen renewed interest post-pandemic, with increased crossover into art and fashion.
