Design Company Wall&decò Asks Artists to Create Wallpaper for Fuorisalone 2022

At Fuorisalone 2022, Wall&decò, in partnership with AtemporaryStudio and under the curation of Giovanna Felluga, unveiled UNROLLING STORIES, where wallpaper intersects with art at Alcova in Milan. This initiative featured eight artists—Fabrice Hyber, LABINAC (a collective that includes Jimmie Durham, Maria Thereza Alves, Kai-Morten Vollmer, Jone Kvie, Elisa Strinna, and Philip Modersohn), Liliana Moro, Riccardo Previdi, Francesco Simeti, Donatella Spaziani, and Patrick Tuttofuoco—tasked with designing wallpapers that challenge the line between wallcoverings and contemporary art. Their creations, showcasing themes like migratory birds and fantastical landscapes, were included in the Wall&decò Editions collection, a limited capsule series. The exhibition, which aimed for cultural regeneration post-lockdowns, was on display until June 12, 2022, at E-Space E13, Alcova, via Simone Saint Bon 1, Milan.
