Desiderio Sanzi's 'Beauty Hazard' at CAOS Terni

Desiderio Sanzi (born 1978, Milan) presents 'Beauty Hazard' at CAOS in Terni, a visual carnival blending horror and dreamlike imagery. The exhibition features acrylic paintings, video, a mirrored room with screens, and a magnetic performance with psychedelic lights and ancestral movements. Sanzi's technique makes acrylics shine like oil, with a ductile, milky brushstroke. Characters include rag dolls, pigs, monsters reminiscent of Saw, Mickey Mouse, Disney and Pixar figures, the Cat and the Fox, lobster-men, and Russian fairy-tale witches, all acting as extras in a coherent set where viewers can wander, choose, or remain hypnotized.
