Desert X AlUla 2026: Space Without Measure Opens in Saudi Arabia

The fourth installment of Desert X AlUla, named 'Space Without Measure,' has commenced in AlUla's desert canyons, Saudi Arabia, and will continue until 28 February 2026. Curated by Wejdan Reda and Zoé Whitley, with art direction from Raneem Farsi and Neville Wakefield, the exhibition showcases 11 artists of varying ages. The English title is inspired by Kahlil Gibran's 1920 work 'The Forerunner,' while the Arabic title 'سديم لا يعد' highlights the bond between humanity and landscape, imagination, and memory. Artists were invited to fulfill long-held aspirations. Noteworthy installations include Mohammed Al Saleem's unprecedented metallic structures, Mohammad Alfaraj's artificial oasis 'What Was the Question Again?', and more, all encouraging interaction with the surrounding environment.
