Delaware Art Museum to Show Lisa Bradley's New Abstract Works
From September 19, 2026, to January 17, 2027, the Delaware Art Museum (DelArt) will showcase "Lisa Bradley: Beyond Luminosity," featuring a collection of new abstract paintings by artist Lisa Bradley. This exhibition, curated by Margaret Winslow, DelArt's Head Curator and Curator of Contemporary Art, along with Art Bridges Fellow Hilda Delgado, will be the first opportunity for the public to view Bradley's recent works. Known for her ability to transform the enigmatic into tangible art through delicate marks and broad strokes, Bradley's creations are described by art historian Carter Ratcliff as capturing "a pause between the pulses of some vast and luminous energy." The event is organized by the Delaware Art Museum with support from Art Bridges.
