Deep Beauty: Mudec Photo explores the doubt of beauty across centuries
The Mudec Photo museum in Milan is set to launch an exhibition titled 'Deep Beauty. Il dubbio della bellezza' from April 5 to May 25, 2025. This event will delve into how our understanding of beauty has evolved, showcasing over sixty works that include photography, video art, and AI-generated pieces. Curated by Denis Curti, the exhibition features early pictorialist art by Julia Margaret Cameron from the 19th century and concludes with AI films created by Alberto Maria Colombo and David Szauder. Notable artists like Marina Abramović, David Hockney, and Helmut Newton are included. The exhibition is divided into six sections and is free to attend, with support from KIKO Milano and collaboration with the City of Milan and 24 ORE Cultura, which produced the catalog.
