December 2025 Global Exhibition Highlights: From Singaporean Treasures in Mexico City to Bangkok's New Museum

From December 4 to May 31, 2026, over eighty artifacts will be showcased at Mexico City's Colegio de San Ildefonso, courtesy of Singapore's Asian Civilisations Museum and National Gallery. Notable pieces include an 18th-century Chinese chocolate stand and a statue of Saint Philip of Jesus. Palestinian-Saudi artist Dana Awartani's work will be on display at Towner Eastbourne until January 25, 2026. Merry Alpern's Dirty Windows series can be viewed at McGlynn's Free House in London until December 14. The sixth Kochi-Muziris Biennale, featuring Marina Abramović, opens on December 12 and runs until March 31, 2026. Saâdane Afif's solo exhibition at Hamburger Bahnhof is from December 12 to September 13, 2026, while MoMA's Ideas of Africa exhibition is scheduled from December 14 to July 25, 2026. The International Milwaukee Riso Invitational will take place from December 20 to February 28, 2026, and Dib Bangkok opens on December 21.
