December 2023 Brings Major Exhibitions Worldwide from Thailand Biennale to NGV Triennial
December 2023 marks the launch of several notable exhibitions worldwide. The Thailand Biennale, titled 'The Open World', is set to take place in Chiang Rai from 9 December 2023 to 30 April 2024, featuring artists Rirkrit Tiravanija and Gridthiya Gaweewong. Melbourne's NGV Triennial 2023 will run from 3 December 2023 to 7 April 2024, showcasing over 100 artists, including Yoko Ono and Hito Steyerl. In Miami, Anne Duk Hee Jordan's 'I will always weather with you' opens on 4 December 2023 and continues until 23 June 2024. Yasuko Toyoshima's 'Origination Method' is at MOT Museum from 9 December 2023 to 10 March 2024, while Leonilson's retrospective begins at Pinacoteca do Ceará on 9 December. Additional exhibitions include Alia Farid's 'Elsewhere', Karlo Kacharava's 'Sentimental Traveler', and 'From the Other Side' at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art. THE NO NAME SHOW 3.0 is scheduled from 15 December to 13 January at Gravity Art Space.
