December 2023 Art Prize Winners Announced Across Italy
Gloria Calderone won the second edition of the Premio Scripta for young art critics with a project on performing arts in public space, receiving a €2,000 grant and a publication by Gli Ori in 2024. Grazia Varisco received the Bai Yu Art Foundation Career Prize; seven students also received scholarships. The fourth Premio Giovanni Testori awarded nine winners under 35, including Agostino Allegri for the special centenary prize. Mamadou Kouassi, who inspired Matteo Garrone's film 'Io Capitano', received the 22nd Premio Maria Adriana Prolo in Turin.
