Debonademeo Studio presents Adrenalina at Casa Museo Remo Brindisi

At Casa Museo Remo Brindisi, a surreal artist house on the Po Delta near Lido di Spina, Debonademeo Studio has staged an exhibition for Adrenalina, a contemporary brand of armchairs and sofas. The house, designed by Milanese designer Nanda Vigo between the late 1960s and early 1970s as a summer residence and museum, was bequeathed to the municipality of Comacchio. It houses some 2,000 works by 20th-century masters including Segantini, Modigliani, Boccioni, De Chirico, Picasso, Matisse, and Fontana. For Milan Design Week 2024, Debonademeo Studio presented black-and-white photographs by Mauro Foli taken inside the museum alongside Adrenalina's seating. The studio's new 2024 design for Adrenalina is Nubia, a sinuous seating system with components that appear connected without mechanical force, complemented by Nefelibata by Stormo Studio, the Ombra collection by Gae Avitabile, and North Light tables by Vladyslav Tolochko. Valentina Bigiarini, Adrenalina's marketing manager, stated that the collaboration aims to awaken the brand's essence through forms, projects, and explorations. Nicoletta Grande, one of Remo Brindisi's 18 nieces, recalled arriving at the villa in 1968 when it was still a construction site, and its completion in 1973, describing the house as a kind of hotel with shared spaces bustling with family, friends, and artists.
