De Napoli and Tiberio at Localedue in Bologna

Niccolò De Napoli (Cosenza, 1986) and Michele Tiberio (Palermo, 1987) are presenting a joint exhibition at Localedue in Bologna. Both artists, part of a generation of young Italian sculptors, explore the precariousness and tension of materials. De Napoli uses a physiotherapy elastic band to suspend a glass slab against a wall, with synthetic clay suggesting possible forms of sculptural construction. Tiberio installs a pink marble slab balanced by an aluminum band that wobbles with public interaction, making the sculpture's lifespan dependent on viewer engagement. The exhibition highlights their ongoing dialogue while maintaining individual research paths.
