Davide Trabucco: Between Art and Architecture
Davide Trabucco (Bologna, 1987) is an artist and curator who bridges art and architecture. After winning a 2012 competition from the Fondazione Collegio Artistico Venturoli, he left university to pursue an alternative path. His works are in private collections of Emilia-Romagna, Allianz Bank, and Palazzo Bentivoglio, and have been exhibited at London Design Biennale, Palazzo Reale di Milano, Galeria de Arquitectura in Porto, and Museo di Castelvecchio in Verona. He has nearly 80,000 Instagram followers. Trabucco created the project "confórmi" and "Le forme non appartengono a nessuno", transforming artistic images. He has worked on commission for Kartell, Zanichelli, Pininfarina, and Valentino. Currently, he is project manager for Palazzo Bentivoglio in Bologna and curator of Garage Bentivoglio. He organized a monographic exhibition of Luigi Ghirri's photos of Atelier Morandi at Palazzo Bentivoglio's underground spaces, celebrating 60 years since Giorgio Morandi's death. The installation recreated Morandi's studio using Franco Raggi's design for Felicissimo Giani, with sustainability in mind.
