Davide Renne, Moschino's New Creative Director, Dies at 46

Davide Renne, appointed creative director of Moschino just a month ago, died on November 6, 2023, in Milan at age 46 after a sudden heart attack. He underwent surgery but did not recover from intensive care. Renne had previously worked under Alessandro Dell'Acqua and Alessandro Michele. Massimo Ferretti, President of Aeffe SpA which owns Moschino, expressed profound grief, recalling Renne's talent, kindness, and sensitivity. Ferretti noted that Renne had joined only days before his illness and that they were working on an ambitious project together. The fashion world mourns the loss of a designer described as brilliant and special.
