Davide Renne appointed creative director of Moschino

Davide Renne has been named the new creative director of Moschino, replacing Jeremy Scott after his departure seven months ago. Renne, a Tuscan fashion designer with a 20-year tenure at Gucci as Head of Womenswear Design under Alessandro Michele, will oversee women's and men's collections and accessories starting November 2023. His debut collection for Autumn/Winter 2024 will be presented during Milan Fashion Week in February 2024. Aeffe SpA executive chairman Massimo Ferretti praised Renne's sophisticated vision and understanding of Moschino's heritage. Renne expressed gratitude, referencing founder Franco Moschino's nickname for the studio as 'the playroom' and emphasizing a sense of play and joy in fashion.
