Davide Mancini Zanchi's Solo Show at Pesaro's Centro Arti Visive Pescheria
Davide Mancini Zanchi, born in Urbino in 1986, is unveiling his inaugural solo exhibition, titled 'Mira il mare mà lë', at the Centro Arti Visive Pescheria in Pesaro. Curated by Marcello Smarrelli, the exhibition will be accessible until October 3. A decade after receiving the Premio Centro Arti Visive Pescheria in 2011, Zanchi presents a two-part narrative inspired by Pesaro's coastal setting. The exhibition's title translates to 'Look at the sea but there'. The first part includes 'Trevor', a thirty-meter video projection of waves from GTA V, accompanied by sculptures crafted from wooden logs and everyday tools. The second part, '1200 études pour le plus beau ciel du monde', features 1,200 spray-painted canvases in the Suffragio church, showcasing fingerprints against the sky.
