Davide Ferri Appointed New Director of Arte Fiera in Bologna
Davide Ferri, born in Forlì in 1974, has been named the new director of Arte Fiera, Italy's oldest modern and contemporary art fair, taking over from Simone Menegoi. This announcement was made during the fair's 48th edition, which also marked Menegoi's seventh year in the role. Since 2020, Ferri has been at the helm of the Pittura XXI section and will assume his new responsibilities while Enea Righi continues as operational director. Residing in Rome with art critic Cecilia Canziani, Ferri teaches Aesthetics at LABA and Ergonomics of Exhibitions at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna. He is also curating the exhibition In a Naked Room, featuring Peggy Franck, at Palazzo De' Toschi, which will run until March 2, 2025.
