Davide Bramante Launches San Sebastiano Contemporary in Sicily

exhibition · 2026-04-27

Davide Bramante, an artist from Siracusa born in 1970, has launched San Sebastiano Contemporary – Casa Bramante in Palazzolo Acreide, Sicily. This contemporary art space is located in a refurbished 140-square-meter Liberty-style building that had been vacant for over five decades. The venue seeks to fill a void in Eastern Sicily's contemporary art scene. Its first exhibition showcases a ping-pong table featuring altered paddles created by artists like Roberto Coda Zabetta and Giulio Zanet, allowing guests to engage with real paddles and balls. Future exhibitions will highlight Mauro Benetti in April, photography from May to June, Filippo La Vaccara in July-August, Corrado Levi in August-September, and Domiziana Giordano also in August-September, catering to the local and international community's desire for contemporary art.
