David Maljković's 'All Day All Year' at T293's New Rome Space

David Maljković (Rijeka, 1973) presents 'All Day All Year' at T293's new venue on Via Ripense 6 in Rome, running until July 16, 2016. The exhibition continues the artist's exploration of the studio as a flexible, versatile concept rather than a fixed exhibition format. Through a series of objects and forms tied to his practice, Maljković constructs a fragmented narrative that reveals the artificial nature of the studio itself. The display reduces functionality to essential shapes, without additional artworks, allowing the architectural space to be read anew with disorienting perceptual force. The studio becomes a negotiating element for a new collective real dimension, interfering with the reading of the space. The show is curated by Gino Pisapia, an independent critic and curator based in Florence, who focuses on cutting-edge artistic research.
