David Lynch memorabilia to be auctioned by Julien's Auctions

Julien's Auctions will sell over 450 items from David Lynch's personal collection on June 18 in Beverly Hills. The auction, titled The David Lynch Collection and organized in collaboration with Turner Classic Movies, includes a La Marzocco GS/3 coffee machine (estimated $3,000), the iconic black-and-white rug from the Red Room in Twin Peaks ($2,000), a director's chair with Lynch's name ($5,000–$7,000), furniture he restored, posters, records, musical instruments, porcelain plates, scripts, and rare sketches. Lynch died on January 16, 2025, at age 79. Born in Montana on January 20, 1946, he studied at the Corcoran School of Art, began filmmaking in 1966, and debuted with Eraserhead in 1977. His films include The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, and the series Twin Peaks. His paintings are held by the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
