David López Quincoces unveils 'Greene' bed for Living Divani at Salone del Mobile 2026

Milan-based Spanish designer David López Quincoces will present the 'Greene' bed for Italian furniture maker Living Divani at Salone del Mobile 2026. This new piece extends a design family that began in 2019 with the 'Greene' sofa and armchairs, followed by a modular system in 2022. Characterized by delicate enveloping curves, the bed aims to create a soft, harmonious presence with a relaxed mood and contemporary elegance. Its construction features slender lacquered tubular steel legs and a trapezoidal frame covered in fabric or leather. A distinctive headboard appears flat from the front but actually consists of two concave curves, reminiscent of a bird's silhouette. Two generous cushions filled with goose down and polyurethane padding inserts complete the design, available in Living Divani's extensive fabric range. López Quincoces has been a long-term collaborator with Living Divani, producing nearly 30 designs since co-founding Studio Dragó with Fanny Bauer Grung in 2010 after working with Piero Lissoni. His previous 'Ark' chair for the company was a highlight of Salone del Mobile 2023. The 'Greene' bed exemplifies warm minimalism through its blend of rigorous structure and soft comfort.
