David Hockney's largest-ever exhibition to open at Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris

From April 9 to September 1, 2025, the Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris will present the most extensive David Hockney retrospective to date, showcasing over 400 pieces that span 70 years of his artistic journey, featuring oil paintings, acrylics, and iPhone drawings. The exhibition, which will transform 11 rooms, is subtitled "Do remember they can't cancel the Spring," highlighting the last quarter-century of Hockney’s work. Curated by Suzanne Pagé, François Michaud, and guest curator Norman Rosenthal, it will include renowned works such as "A Bigger Splash" (1967) and "Portrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures)" (1972). The display will also feature mixed media and recent pieces influenced by Edvard Munch and William Blake, including Hockney's newest self-portrait.
