David Hockney Retrospective at Bucerius Kunst Forum in Hamburg

The Bucerius Kunst Forum in Hamburg has opened "David Hockney – Works From The Tate Collection," a retrospective featuring around 100 works, most from the Tate. The exhibition spans Hockney's career from his student days at the Royal College of Art to large-format works like "In Studio" (2017). It includes early pieces such as "Woman with a Sewing Machine" (1954) and explores his use of various techniques, his focus on visual perception, and his portraits and nudes. Many key works are shown together in Germany for the first time. The exhibition runs until May 10, 2020.
