David Freyne's 'Eternity' Premieres at Torino Film Festival, a Rom-Com About Love After Death

David Freyne's film 'Eternity' premiered at the Torino Film Festival and will be released in Italian cinemas on December 4 by I Wonder Pictures. The romantic comedy explores love after death, following Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) who arrives in the afterlife days after her husband Larry (Miles Teller). She is greeted by Luke (Callum Turner), her first love who waited 67 years to see her again. Joan has one week to choose between mature love and idealized love. The film's visual style was created by production designer Zazu Myers, cinematographer Ruairí O'Brien, and Oscar-winning costume designer Angus Strathie. The afterlife is depicted as a bureaucratic amusement park resembling a 1950s shopping mall, while Earth is shown with the softness of a memory. The screenplay was written by Pat Cunnane.
