The film version of David Byrne's Broadway show American Utopia, directed by Spike Lee, will air on Sky Arte on Friday, September 13. The film faithfully reconstructs the successful performance featuring Byrne alongside 11 international musicians. The setlist includes tracks from Byrne's 2018 album American Utopia, songs from his solo catalog, and selections from Talking Heads' discography (active until the early 1990s). The project transitioned from album to Broadway to film in 2020.
