David Bowie's Life Becomes a Comic Book in New Graphic Novel

A new graphic novel titled "Bowie – Stardust, Rayguns & Moonage Daydreams" chronicles the life of David Bowie, the iconic rock musician who died in 2016 at age 69. Published by Panini Comics, the 160-page full-color book is written by Steve Horton and illustrated by the American comic duo Michael and Laura Allred. It traces Bowie's career from his childhood and early musical beginnings to the creation of his alter ego Ziggy Stardust and his global success with hits like "Space Oddity," "Rebel Rebel," and "Starman." The vibrant illustrations reflect the glam and alternative spirit of the singer. Released on January 10, 2020, the date marks the fourth anniversary of Bowie's death, which occurred on January 10, 2016, just days after the release of his final album "Blackstar." The book is available in bookstores from that date, priced at €24.00.
