The film was recorded during Bowie's double concert in Dublin on November 22 and 23, 2003, as part of his A Reality Tour. The tour attracted over 700,000 fans worldwide. The documentary features a 30-song setlist spanning Bowie's career, including tracks like 'Five Years' and 'Hang On to Yourself' that he had not performed live in over 20 years. Maurice O'Brien of the Irish Independent praised Bowie's charisma, stating he conveys more in one song than many stars do in an entire career. The film is Bowie's first concert movie in 15 years.
