David Bowie film hits Italian cinemas alongside Mambo exhibition

The film 'David Bowie is' will screen in Italian cinemas from July 11 to 13, coinciding with the opening of the eponymous exhibition at Mambo in Bologna. The exhibition, originally debuted at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London in 2013, has toured the Netherlands, Australia, France, Germany, Brazil, Japan, Canada, and the United States. The film features 300 items including videos, photographs, manuscripts, letters, storyboards, and costume sketches, covering Bowie's career from the early 1960s to the new millennium. Special guides include Japanese designer Kansai Yamamoto and Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker. A promotional offer allows cinema ticket holders to purchase reduced entry to the Bologna exhibition, and vice versa.
