David Bowie exhibition in Turin explores artistic identity through brother Terry Burns
The exhibition titled 'David Bowie, mio fratello' will be held at Turin's Musa Art Gallery from April 17 to July 12, 2026. This event presents an intimate view of David Bowie through the lens of his half-brother, Terry Burns. Curated by Francesco Longo and developed by David Lawrence, it represents its first showing in Italy following earlier exhibitions in France. The showcase features photographs from Denis O'Regan, Philippe Auliac, and Michel Haddi, alongside texts that delve into Bowie's artistic persona. Notable figures such as Lou Reed and Iggy Pop, as well as references to Pablo Picasso, are included. Terry Burns, who lived from 1937 until his suicide in 1985, plays a pivotal role in understanding Bowie's cultural landscape. Two publications will accompany the exhibition: the catalog 'David Bowie, My Brother' and Lawrence's biographical novel.
