Davaj! Russian Art Now Exhibition in Berlin Showcases Contemporary Russian Video and Installation Works

From January 10 to February 27, 2002, the Postfuhramt in Berlin hosted the exhibition 'Davaj! Russian Art Now,' which highlighted modern Russian artistry. Curated by local specialists, the event showcased video art by Maksim Verevkin, Lyudmila Gorlova, and the Blue Noses collective. Performances featured Aleksandr Shaburov and Sergey Provorov, while the group 'Escape' introduced a travel agency concept inspired by New York's Dakota Building. Oleg Kulik's 'Dead Monkeys' displayed taxidermied animals, and Tatyana Hegstler's 'Buried Treasures' incorporated heat-sensitive images.
