Das Hund performs live for ArtReview October issue launch with Levack Lewandowski project

On Tuesday 29 September 2015 at 7pm, the experimental band Das Hund will perform at ArtReview Bar in London to celebrate the October issue launch of ArtReview. The performance features Samuel Levack and Jennifer Lewandowski presenting poetic texts with a live score and drumbeat, collaborating with musicians Nicholas Pankhurst and Stu Fancy Smith. Their artist project in the October issue reflects concerns about artists' place in a society that commodifies creativity. The event includes a DJ set by Lucy Woodhouse from 7pm until 11pm. A video titled Alternative Equinox by Levack Lewandowski, with voiceover reading from their commissioned text, accompanies the series. The collaborative practice of Levack and Lewandowski spans installation, performance, video, painting, sculpture, and music.
