Dario Maglionico's 'Sincronie' at Castello Visconteo, Legnano

The Pinacoteca del Castello Visconteo in Legnano hosts 'Sincronie', a solo exhibition by Neapolitan painter Dario Maglionico (born 1986). Curated by Claudia Contu, the show brings together works from the last two years, divided into two series: 'Reificazioni' and 'Studi del buio'. Maglionico's practice examines domestic everyday life through a unique perceptual lens, challenging the uniformity of time and space by dissolving them into suggestive, aleatory overlays. His recent works focus on light analysis, which shapes the paintings and leads to a new perceptual path where everyday irregularity becomes even more imperceptible. The exhibition runs until September 18, 2016, at the recently restored castle venue.
