Dario Guccio's Solo Show at Baleno International, Rome

Dario Guccio (Ischia, 1988) presents his first solo exhibition at Baleno International in Rome, featuring a single work titled 'Out of Time' inspired by the Blur ballad of the same name. The installation, centrally placed, divides the gallery space like a stage set. The work comprises leather-cut silhouettes, overlapping figures, and introspective narratives, evoking a dadaist approach despite a monochromatic palette. It explores volumes, patterns, layers, and voids, with suspended bodies stripped of carnality. The exhibition celebrates physicality and beauty as an anthropological analysis through curves and forms, akin to fashion where silhouettes follow the body's lines, inventing a future world. The show runs in 2023.
