Dario Ghibaudo's Hybrid Sculptures at Galleria Pack, Milan

The exhibition 'La scultura è morta, viva la scultura!' at Galleria Pack in Milan presents Dario Ghibaudo's (born 1951 in Cuneo, lives in Milan) drawings and sculptures exploring intimacy through daily ritual. His hybrid creatures emerge from an uncontrolled process without preparatory sketches, using ink and material in a gestural, trace-by-trace approach. Five unsettling muzzles reflect on the glass of framed drawings arranged like an atlas, creating immersive windows into improbable worlds. This obsessive investigation has been ongoing for over twenty-five years within the Museo di Storia Innaturale, a project based on encyclopedic cataloging and scientific recording aimed at an unreal analysis at the boundary between utopia and dystopia.
