Dario Agrimi, Antonio Finelli, Angelo Maisto debut contemporary art at Museo Diocesano Salerno
The Museo Diocesano San Matteo in Salerno opens its doors to contemporary art for the first time with the exhibition "La società della stanchezza ‒ Dispositio ex clausione linearum". Featuring artists Dario Agrimi, Angelo Maisto, and Antonio Finelli, the show explores the philosophy of Byung-Chul Han on modern exhaustion and disconnection. After a cloistered residency, the trio produced thirty drawings on Amalfi Amatruda paper and a triptych on panel (360 x 255 cm). Curated by Marcello Francolini and Fabio Avella, the project also involved psychologist Lucio Buonomo, visual anthropologist Vincenzo Esposito, and Vicar General Monsignor Biagio Napoletano. The works inaugurate the museum's permanent contemporary art collection.
