Danza in Rete Festival Returns to Vicenza with 57 Events

The contemporary dance festival Danza in Rete, part of the Moving Souls initiative, will take place in Vicenza, Italy, from February 25 to May 8, 2023. This sixth edition is curated by Pier Giacomo Cirella, Loredana Bernardi, and Alessandro Bevilacqua and comprises 57 events, featuring performances, workshops, and masterclasses. Notable highlights in the official section include Italian premieres such as 'Queen Blood' by Ousmane Sy and works from Abbondanza/Bertoni and Peeping Tom. Emerging artists like Collettivo Jennifer Rosa and Sofia Nappi will be showcased in the Off section. The festival kicks off with Mauro Astolfi's Spellbound Contemporary Ballet presenting 'L'arte della Fuga.' Additionally, the Supporter Project features pre-show acts by Antonio Taurino, Marco di Nardo, and Juan Tirado.
