Danish Contemporary Art on Show at Museo Irpino in Avellino

The 'Caleidoscopio Danimarca' exhibition at the Museo Irpino in Avellino showcases works by renowned Danish artists Asger Jorn, Henry Heerup, and Jørgen Haugen Sørensen, alongside sixteen up-and-coming talents from Danish art academies. This fourth installment of the Caleidoscopio initiative, curated by Andrea Del Guercio in partnership with Associazione MontoroContemporanea and DIAA, emphasizes Denmark, following earlier editions that highlighted Germany and China. Set in the historic Carcere Borbonico, the exhibition draws inspiration from cultural venues like the Louisiana Museum. Among the featured emerging artists are Nicolas Steiner, Johanne Rude Lindegaard, Jeanette Hillig, Steen Rasmussen, Søren Krag, René Holm, Agnete Brinch, Nathalie Cohn, and others.
