Daniela Comani's Virtual World Tour at Galleria Milano
Galleria Milano presents Daniela Comani's "Planet Earth: 21st Century" (2019), a series of hundreds of postcards depicting symbolic buildings from around the world. Despite appearances, Comani never left her Berlin studio—the images were captured via Apple Maps Flyover and Google Earth VR. The work continues her exploration of gender identity and perception, echoing her earlier piece "Matrimonio felice." The exhibition is organized in collaboration with Galleria Studio G7 in Bologna and includes an artist book published by Humboldt Books with a text by Vera Tollmann. In the second gallery, the sound installation "Sono Stata Io. Diario 1900-1999" (66', 2002/2011) offers a personalized revision of 20th-century events.
