Daniel Arsham Reimagines Tiffany's Iconic Blue Box

artist · 2026-04-27

Tiffany & Co. has collaborated with American artist Daniel Arsham (Cleveland, 1980) to create the Bronze Eroded Tiffany Blue Box, a series of 49 bronze sculptures that reinterpret the brand's iconic packaging as weathered, time-worn artifacts. The works belong to Arsham's Future Archeological series, which imagines contemporary objects as ancient relics. Arsham stated, "I often gravitate toward immediately recognizable objects. The Tiffany Blue Box has that power: I wanted to approach it in a different way, giving it an aged appearance that represents its history and underscores how it is an institution in our imagination today and will continue to be for decades, even centuries." Each Bronze Eroded Tiffany Blue Box contains a limited-edition bracelet, the Tiffany Knot x Arsham Studio, crafted from 18-karat white gold with diamonds and tsavorites. A large-scale installation evoking the sculpture is on view at the Tiffany Flagship Next Door in New York through the end of October. The collaboration follows a recent Tiffany campaign starring Beyoncé and Jay-Z, directed by Emmanuel Adjei, in which Beyoncé channeled Audrey Hepburn's look from Breakfast at Tiffany's and Jay-Z referenced Jean-Michel Basquiat's painting featuring the brand's signature robin's-egg blue.
