Danese Gallery Shows and Artists in artcritical Archive

The 'Danese' section of the artcritical archive features numerous exhibitions and references at the Danese Gallery, previously known as Danese/Corey, located in New York. Current displays include small works on paper available until November 15, and a veteran artist's debut at Danese/Corey running until April 19. Winter exhibitions are also taking place at Loretta Howard and Danese/Corey. Katia Santibañez's work is showcased at Danese until March 17 at 535 West 24th Street, while Larry Poons explores painterly bipolarity. Additional highlights include Rachel Whiteread at Luhring Augustine, Su-en Wong at Danese, and Jake Berthot at Betty Cuningham. Bill Jensen's "Duo Duo and Drunken Brush Drawings" can be seen at Danese until March 13 at 41 East 57th Street, with prices not disclosed. Ying Li’s work is on display at the Painting Center until February 28 at 52 Greene Street, with prices ranging from $1,800 to $4,000. Marc Quinn and Shirley Kaneda are also featured at Danese Gallery. The prevalence of anti-establishment exhibitions indicates a shift away from traditional values in the art world.
