Danae Festival 18th Edition Opens in Milan with Officina LachesiLAB Residency

The 18th edition of Danae Festival runs in Milan from October 26 to November 13, with an additional program on December 12 and 13. The festival features the first edition of Officina LachesiLAB, a new project by Teatro delle Moire offering training, residencies, and open rehearsals for selected artists. Artistic directors Alessandra De Santis and Attilio Nicoli Cristiani emphasize the goal of providing a 'home' for emerging and established artists while fostering public engagement with diverse experiments. Beneficiaries received tutoring from Teatro delle Moire and artists including Daria Deflorian. Lorenzo Piccolo, co-founder of Nina's Drag Queens, presents his first solo work 'Vedi alla voce Alma,' inspired by Oskar Kokoschka's obsession with Alma Mahler and Cocteau's 'La voix humaine.' Filippo Michelangelo Ceredi makes his theatrical debut with 'Between me and P.,' a piece about his brother who disappeared in 1987. Other artists include Silvia Gribaudi, Salvo Lombardo, Daniele Ninarello, collective ZimmerFrei, Annamaria Ajmone, and Alessandro Bedosti, who closes the festival with 'Vous êtes pleine de désespoir – Una sirena' in collaboration with Teatro delle Moire.
