Dana Wyse's Jesus Had A Sister Productions™ Celebrates 10 Years
Canadian conceptual artist Dana Wyse is celebrating ten years of her fictional pharmaceutical enterprise, Jesus Had A Sister Productions™, which was established by her great-great-grandfather in 1786. Gaining prominence in France since 1996 under the alias 'Docteur Pilule', Wyse's artwork critiques societal expectations and media influences. Her pill-inspired pieces have been showcased at prestigious venues, including MoCA Los Angeles and New Museum New York, exploring issues related to aging and heteronormativity. Currently dividing her time between Canada and France, Wyse collaborates with Anton Weller in Paris and Aeroplastics in Brussels. In January 2007, she will release her book on leveraging addiction into art.
