Damien Hirst releases limited edition prints for Save the Children Italy
Damien Hirst has created four new limited edition prints to support Save the Children's education program in Italy. Available from September 15 to 27, the prints are inspired by his Cherry Blossoms series and come in two sets: Fruitful and Forever. Each set features two abstract works with bright, joyful palettes inspired by nature and artists like Pierre Bonnard, Claude Monet, and Vincent Van Gogh. The prints are offered in two sizes: 39 x 39 cm for 400 EUR and 78 x 78 cm for 1,200 EUR. Proceeds will go to the 'Riscriviamo il futuro' project, aiding disadvantaged Italian children affected by school closures during the COVID-19 lockdown. The initiative is supported by Fondazione Prada, which promotes the campaign. Hirst previously created Butterfly Rainbow and Butterfly Heart in May 2020, with proceeds benefiting NHS Charities Together and The Felix Project in London.
