Dallas Museum of Art Acquires Four Works Through 2026 Dallas Art Fair Foundation Fund
On the inaugural day of the 2026 Dallas Art Fair, Dr. Vivian Li announced that the Dallas Museum of Art has chosen four pieces for acquisition via the Dallas Art Fair Foundation Art Acquisition Fund. The selected artworks comprise 'My Prayer' (2025) by Hasani Sahlehe, 'Kingdom' (2026) by Caroline Monnet, 'Untitled' (1974) by Gloria Klein, two pieces from Raymond Saunders, and Nicole Eisenman's 'Foghorn' (2018). The selection committee consisted of DMA curators and donors of the fund. Since its inception in 2016, the fund has procured over 75 artworks, with a budget of $100,000 allocated for 2025. Kelly Cornell, the Dallas Art Fair Director, emphasized the fund's cultural significance, while Tif Sigrids underscored its importance for artists.
