Dallas Art Fair Stabilizes with 90 Galleries, DMA Acquires Six Works for $100,000

The Dallas Museum of Art made a notable purchase of six artworks for $100,000, including works by Nicole Eisenman and Raymond Saunders. Among significant sales, Sam Francis’s Untitled (Blue, Green, Red) from 1964 sold for $140,000, while Corinne Michelle West's Red Still Life from 1959 went for $100,000. Carvalho gallery sold seven Rachel Mica Weiss pieces for a total of $177,000. Concurrently, the Dallas Invitational, ending April 18 at Rosewood Mansion, features an $18,000 quilt by Elsa Hansen Oldham, with local dealer Tessa Granowski organizing pop-up shows.
