Daisy Nam Named Director and Chief Curator of Wattis Institute CCA

Daisy Nam has been appointed as the director and chief curator of the Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts at the California College of the Arts. Before this, she was the director at Ballroom Marfa, where she curated impressive exhibitions like Guadalupe Maravilla: Mariposa Relámpago (2023) and Tongues of Fire (2023). Her experience also includes serving as the Assistant Director at Harvard's Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts and as the Assistant Director of Public Programs at Columbia's School of the Arts. Nam will start her new position on April 1, and she’s excited about launching the new gallery and contributing to the Wattis Institute's impactful legacy beyond the Bay Area.
