DAF, the first digital art festival in Naples, launches with a preview on December 8, 2018
The Digital Art Festival (DAF), the first festival of digital art in Naples, will hold a preview event on December 8, 2018, at Scugnizzo Liberato, a former 17th-century convent and juvenile prison turned community space. The preview features international artists including Francesca Fini, Domenico Barra (Altered_Data), Piero Chiariello, Loredana Antonelli, Flaviano Esposito, and Italo Todde. Activities include book presentations, a digital art movie screening, DJ sets, live audio-visual performances, and installations. A dedicated exhibition covers Interferenze 2003-2018, a festival of electronic and multimedia arts from Irpinia. Fabrizio Somma (K-Conjog) will present his latest electronic music album 'Magic Spooky Ears'. The main festival is scheduled for May 2019, lasting seven days. The event is organized by a Neapolitan team with experience from international electronic arts festivals like Sintesi and Magmart.
