Daata Fair launches as new digital art fair alongside Frieze
The inaugural Daata Fair, a new digital art event, is set to take place from October 6 to 25, 2020, with a preview scheduled for October 5. This fair coincides with the digital edition of Frieze and is organized by Daata, a platform established in 2015 by David Gryn for the collection of digital art. Recently, Daata introduced Galleries at Daata, enabling galleries worldwide to sell artworks through direct downloads. Collaborations with prominent fairs and institutions such as Frieze, MOCAD, and Art Cologne have marked its growth. The fair will showcase video and digital pieces from 20 exhibitors, with each gallery displaying up to six works per artist. Additionally, digital events will be available on Instagram @daata.art, reflecting the rise of online art fairs during the pandemic.
