Da Vinci Experience: Immersive Multimedia Show in Florence
Following the success of Klimt Experience with over 80,000 visitors, Gruppo Crossmedia launches Da Vinci Experience in the deconsecrated church of Santo Stefano al Ponte in Florence, near Ponte Vecchio. The exhibition offers total immersion into Leonardo da Vinci's genius, science, and eclecticism through video mapping multiprojections on nine giant screens and the church's nave architecture, displaying hundreds of high-definition digitized images and full HD video inserts with 360° Dolby surround sound. It also features numerous models of Leonardo's machines (full-scale and scaled) and a 3D virtual reality app using Oculus headsets to enter and interact with a tank mechanism. The show was reported by Claudia Giraud.
